Founded by the surgeon A.J. Froeling in 1968, Medic Foundation is an organisation helping to provide medical goods and services to people in need in economically underdeveloped areas. With about 90 volunteers with a broad expertise in many areas of health care and technology, it was an absolute pleasure to visit them and see their fantastic work. A wonderful totally committed charitable foundation and great people to be working with.
We are working in partnership with Malawi.Kom to support surgical training of clinical officers and deliver Basic Trauma Life Support courses in Malawi. Our special thanks go to Dr Jan Petit, a retired Dutch surgeon who has done so very much in Malawi for so many years. Jan, it is wonderful working alongside you in Malawi.
