Government run district (secondary) and academic hospital located in the Akuapim North District of the Eastern Region of Ghana.
A 129 bed capacity hospital providing both general and specialist outpatient and inpatient care, and also serving as training facility for various categories of health worker.
Medical Students, Nursing students, Dentistry Students, Laboratory technology students and volunteers interested in health care volunteering and support works are all welcome. All specialties of medical professional welcomed.
The hospital is within 20 minutes walking distance to a bus terminal that links Mampong to Accra the capital of Ghana. Accra is about an hour drive from Mampong. Fly into Accra and join a bus to Mampong from Accra.

Up to 10 weeks. A minimum of four weeks offer you the opportunity to get the best out of your elective or healthcare volunteering. Please note that longer duration can also be arranged.
