2010 Bursary Interviews

On 13th January, interviews were held at Nottingham Medical School for the final year medical elective bursary awards. This was our second year for the donation of these awards and we were once more the recipients of a large field of excellent candidates. Sadly, we could only donate six Bursary awards and it was a very hard choice as the quality of applicants was very high.

The awards are worth £1,000 each, 50% of these funds being donated by Karnival, the fundraising arm of Nottingham University Students Union. The awards are made to final year medical students undertaking elective placements in a variety of African countries.

The AMECA Trust extend warm congratulations to all the successful candidates and wish all of the students well on their forthcoming elective placements.
